Leon County, Florida Inmate Search

The Leon County inmate search roster is a publicly accessible database containing the identification details of individuals who have been arrested in Leon County and booked in the county detention facility. An inmate search helps the public to find basic information on inmates, including their charges, nature of offense and sentencing, inmate status, court dates, and release dates.

Residents of Leon use inmate rosters to find out whether people they know have been arrested and held in custody, coordinate legal assistance, and stay abreast of arrests and detentions happening in their community.

The Tallahassee Police Department and the Leon County Sheriff’s Office handle law enforcement operations for the county. However, the Sheriff’s Office is solely responsible for bookings, detention, and the administrative and management of the Leon County Detention Center. The detention center is the primary and sole detention facility serving the county. The Leon Regional Juvenile Detention Center, on the other hand, houses offenders under the age of 18 who have been placed in custody by the courts. Unlike the county detention center, which serves Leon County alone, the regional juvenile detention center serves eight counties.
